Dr. Siegi Schuler, PhD, RSW
For more than 25-years, Dr. Siegi Schuler has specialized in the field of adolescent and adult mental health, and has provided clinical service within a variety of settings and organizations throughout his years of practice.
Between 2003 and 2014, Dr. Schuler held the position of Clinical Director at the Halton Trauma Centre, a specialized children’s mental health agency in Oakville, Ontario.
Since 2004, Dr. Schuler has provided clinical support and consultation to Canada's National Ballet School, and since this time, Dr. Schuler has provided sports performance counselling to young elite athletes within a variety of athletic disciplines, such as track and cross-country, AAA/Junior A hockey, soccer, golf, swimming, tennis, rock climbing, and Taekwondo. In particular, Dr. Schuler has concentrated his clinical practice on supporting young athletes through post-injury mental health recovery, development of psychosocial/emotional resiliency, and performance support.
Dr. Schuler also operates a highly specialized and clinically comprehensive private clinic in Toronto (Schuler Counselling & Consultation). This multi-disciplinary clinical service is made-up of social work, psychological, and psychiatric support, and provides assessment and psychotherapy within a variety of psychosocial/emotional areas of functioning with children, youth, and young adults.

Dr. Schuler regularly consults to the Hospital for Sick Children, in the Tele-Psychiatry Program and he is a faculty member at Ryerson University, in the School of Child and Youth Care. In addition, Dr. Schuler is a sessional instructor in Graduate Studies, at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. Between 2005 to 2006, Dr. Schuler lectured within the Faculty of Medicine at McMaster Univerity. Dr. Schuler is a published author of several book chapters and best practice documents in his area of clinical interest.
In his free time, Dr. Schuler is a medium distance endurance runner, and participates in his children's athletic sports. Dr. Schuler, his inspiring wife, a clinical and forensic psychologist, and three amazing children all live in Toronto, Ontario.
